An Old Favorite

This card is one of my favorites.
It features heat embossing...which always makes people say "Wow!".
I distressed the edge of the Really Rust cardstock with my cutter kit and popped that whole image up with the Stampin' Dimensionals.

Cardstock: So Saffron, Creamy Caramel, Really Rust
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Stamps: Lovely As A Tree, All Holidays (sentiment), Sanded background stamp
Other: Clear Embossing Powder, Heat tool, Cutter Kit, 5/8" Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, Glue dots, Copper eyelets, Crop-a-dile, Stampin' dimensionals

Happy

In papercrafting, I generate a lot of scraps.
Instead of just tossing them out, often I will just keep a pile on my table, and when the mood strikes, I will use them to jump start my creativity.
This card was created from a lot of random pieces that were left over from various other projects.

The blue medallion in the center of the olive flower says "happy"...I didn't realize it didn't show up in the picture.

Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White Ink: Bashful Blue DSP: Summer Picnic Other: Old Olive Marker, Real Red Marker, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds, Cutter Kit, Die Cut Blooms (Old Olive Flower), Stampin' Dimensionals, 5/8" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon

Just for Fun

Last night, I created two cards with no specific criteria other than "purple and birthday".
Out of curiousity, I'd like to know which one of these cards appeals to you more:

Simplicity with Punches

These two cards were made using some of our Stampin' Up! punches.
I love how simple and easy it is to make a card using just a stamp and a punch.

For this first card, I used the Large Tag Punch, and a "direct to paper" technique with the Sage Shadow ink.
To do the same thing, just open your ink pad and rub your cardstock randomly over the open ink pad.
Viola!
I think it looks very suede-like, (even in green).
This card was made using the Curly Label punch.
The edges of the card are sponged with a fingertip sponge dauber.
Card #1:
Cardstock: Sage Shadow, Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla
Ink: Sage Shadow
Stamps: (retired Tag Punch Box set)
Other: Stampin' Dimensionals, Cutter Kit
Card #2:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point
Stamps: Curly Label Punch Bundle
Other: Curly Label Punch, Tangerine Tango Ribbon, Sponge Dauber, Stampin' Dimensionals

New Teen Birthday Card

I am so sorry that I haven't been around much lately.
Sending the kids back to school and getting into a routine took a lot of time and most of my energy!
However, I'm back, and I've got lots of pictures to share with you, so come back soon and see what new products I'm showcasing.
I made this card for my oldest son who turned 13 in August.
It uses our 3 of the new In Colors: Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango, and Pacific Point.
I really love the bold colors in this card.
Something that I did that was a little different here was I used the Color Spritzer tool and the Summer Sun marker and sprayed yellow "stars" onto the white cardstock.
I also used a Classy Brass Template (called Punches Plus) to do the paper piercing in the star shape.

Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point & Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Summer Sun, Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point
Stamps: Pun Fun
Other: Blender Pens, Summer Sun marker, Styled Silver (star) brads, Classy Brass Template (Punches Plus), Paper Piercer (from Crafter's Tool Kit), Color Spritzer tool, Tangerine Tango 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals
